Dress Up
Be part of the fun by dressing in your fave 60s gear. Whether it’s a Mary Quant mini or psychedelic Nehru, you can help make Beatlesfest 7 Valleys a fun time for everyone.
Our anonymous judges will be awarding prizes at random to well dressed Ladies, Gents and Children.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
LADIES: Mini-skirts, coloured tights, hats, paisley dresses, knee-high boots, striped t-shirts, bold fabrics, patent leather
GENTS: Beatle boots, nehru jackets, stovepipe trousers, winklepickers, paisley shirts, 60s suits, skinny ties, scarves.
You can also score some fab gear at the Saturday Vintage and Vinyl market at the Annexe in Portland.
We welcome you dressing up and having fun whatever way you like.
Markets
The Annexe at Portland will be hosting a Vintage and Vinyl Market on Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Shuttle buses will be running to Portland for the weekend and the Night Markets will be held at the adjacent Foundations from 4pm.
Stalls will be selling used goods and clothing, or music related items.
Community & Businesses
We welcome the involvement of local businesses and members of the Community. Beatlesfest – 7 Valleys is there to benefit all of us in the region. We want visitors to come and enjoy all that we have to offer. Please contact us by clicking here if you would like to be involved in making Beatlesfest a success for everyone. Beatlesfest 7 Valleys aims to use local businesses and musicians as much as possible.
STREET PERFORMERS
If you would like to perform (busking) along the Main St of Lithgow please contact us with details of your act/routine. Acoustic performances only, no amplification. Some spots are available but are filling fast. All performers will be paid.
VOLUNTEERS
If you would like to give your time to ensure that visitors to Beatlesfest have an enjoyable experience, we are looking for volunteers to manage public information centres, lost and found etc.
LOCAL BUSINESS
If you would like to run a Beatles-themed workshop or event please let us know as soon as possible, so that we may incorporate it into the program.
Other ways you might get involved include dressing up for the weekend, window displays, Beatles-themed menus for food outlets etc.
VINTAGE CARS OR BIKES
If you would like to display your vintage car or motorcycle, please contact us.
