There’s so much to see and do in The Seven Valleys, whether it’s in Lithgow, Portland, Wallerawang or any of the other surrounding townships: see the steam train at Zig Zag Railway, the incredible lookout at Hassan’s Wall or the majestic Silos at Portland.
With activities across three towns, Beatlesfest can guide you on a magical mystery tour through the Central West.
Weekend trains leave Central Station every 1 – 2 hours from 6:24am until 4.24pm although Countrylink services require a booking in advance. To plan your train journey, visit transportnsw.info
FREE buses will be running between Lithgow, Portland and Wallerawang on Saturday and Sunday to get you to different events across the Seven Valleys.

The trip to Lithgow is two hours from Sydney (140km from Central Station), via the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains. Wallerawang and Portland are just 20 minutes further west along the highway, past the scenic camping grounds of Lake Wallace.
From Bathurst, it is approximately 50 minutes to Lithgow heading east along the Great Western Highway.
NOTE: Expect heavier than usual traffic due to the long weekend.

Along with the great food and drinks, Beatlesfest also has special dinner shows at some of our finest cafes and restaurants. Please check the program for details and to see if a booking is required.
Accommodation during Beatlesfest 7 Valleys is already in high demand across Lithgow, Portland and Wallerawang. We do advise that you book early and also consider nearby towns including Blackheath, Katoomba and Bathurst. However, never give up – cancellations do occur right up until the Festival dates.
